As a Senior UX design leader at AWS, I focus on deeply understanding users and business needs to deliver exceptional product experiences. My professional journey is driven by continuous learning, innovation, and meaningful work.

Originally from Changde, China, I moved to the United States at 15 and graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Business Information Technology. My core values of excellence, kindness, and attention to details have consistently guided my career decisions.

During my time as a QA Engineer for Marriott International's Mobile App team, I discovered my true passion: user experience design. What started as quality assurance work evolved into a deep fascination with how people interact with digital products. This led me to complete the UX Design Immersive course at General Assembly, marking my transition into UX Design. In my role as a UX Designer, I've had the privilege of crafting experiences for millions of users, developing expertise in user research, interaction design, and design thinking methodologies.

I later transitioned to Marriott's Global Learning & Development team, where I designed internal platforms for over 700,000 associates worldwide. This experience taught me the critical importance of employee experience design.

In late 2019, I took a bold step to become a design entrepreneur. Within a year, I had built a diverse client base of 11 companies, allowing me to work on innovative projects across different industries.

Currently, I lead the UX Strategy for the internal sales operations tools used by all of Sales Ops, Leadership team, and 70K+ field teams at AWS, simplifying the complexity of the sales operations and planning landscape. When I'm not designing, I enjoy spending time with my two energetic boys (ages 6 and 3), reading an interesting novel, and nurturing my plant collection. I strive to keep life simple, focused, and centered around the things that bring me joy and purpose.
